Low Dye Taping Technique for Plantar Fasciitis
Plantar fasciitis is the most common cause of heel pain. Plantar fasciitis is the medical term used to describe an inflamed plantar fascia ligament. Low Dye Taping is used to reduce pain and inflammation in the plantar fascia by providing mechanical support and reducing excessive pronation (the natural side-to-side movement of the foot when you walk or run).

MENISCUS INJURIES: Common Symptoms and Treatment Options for Knee Pain - Dr. Brett Franklin

The meniscus is a rubbery, C-shaped piece of cartilage that acts as a shock absorber between your thighbone and shinbone. Each knee has two menisci, one at the outer edge of the knee and one at the inner edge of the knee. The menisci work together to provide stability to the knee joint by distributing your weight across the knee. When people talk about torn cartilage in the knee, they are usual...

Cervical radiculopathy, commonly referred to as a “pinched nerve,” occurs when a nerve in the neck is compressed by a damaged spinal disc. If it aint meth, it's vikidens, if it's not vikedidins it percusates, if it aint percusates it's morphine, if it aint morphine it's Heroine, if it aint Heroine it's the worst of them all- them fetanol drugs they give you at surgery! What ever happened to a good morning cup of black coffee and cigarette, and after work a nice cold beer and some cocainia!!!!!!! Looooool

I had my left knee done in Roanoke, Va. two years ago last week. It was NOT the horror story people make it out to be. I am very active, and the replacement gave me back my life. You have to want to get better. You must get up and move and do your physical therapy. I will not hesitate to have the right one done.

I always hate these videos. The squeemish part of me always reacts like it doesn't want to be here. It's mostly pointly anyways. The only way to really know is to see a doctor get scans done. Besides a lot them talk about surgery like it's not going to cause long term problems for what could very likely heal on it's own.

This was incredibly helpful. My 11 year old pitches from the stretch very naturally but I'd like him to learn the wind up as well. You broke this down so thoroughly and made it very understandable. Thank you for not rushing through each step. I am not a pitcher but now I want to try, lol.

He said, "Next this is just a personal preference of mine," 😅 Like he's a building a cabinet in a kitchen or something. What's the actual medical procedure that is supposed to be done and why is what's important to me. Lol Like WOW!! That's the only thing that got me. He actually said, "Next this is just a personal preference of mine, I like to take off the tibial spine where I like to make it flat where I can drill the next drill in. And once I have a good flat surface to work with we'll come in and put our drill in again...." Lol 😅 I can't get over that part. Sorry.... Lol 😅What's the actual medical surgical procedure that is supposed to take place instead of his personal preference of his? And does his personal preference make the surgical procedure better or worse?

Had a total knee and am in agreement with people who stated that the key to a successful surgery is obviously a good doc, but just as, if not more so is getting serious about your pre op and post op physical therapy/exercise. Did 5 weeks of pre op workouts, followed by 3.5 months of physical therapy. Had great insurance and pushed it all the way to the limit. As a result at 65 years old i was back water skiing, snow skiing, hiking, wake surfing again. Sadly I stopped playing volleyball because of the loss of certain ligaments. However I will take getting my life back along with the ability to function again and no more crippling pain sny day of the week.

I have mild neck pain but lots of numbness on my neck, shoulders, and hands all greatly aggravated by bending my neck. 4 surgeons have recommended 2 level ADR and diagnosed radiculopathy and myelopathy because of also having hyperreflexia, mild balance issues, and positive Hoffmans. How is it possible I can have severe bilateral foraminal stenosis and cord compression at C5-C7 yet have only mild neck pain and no pain radiating down my arms? Does the numbness sound more like radiculopathy or myelopathy? How can you tell?

I'm 42 years old and have needed a total left knee replacement since I was about 35. My insurance still has refused to pay for it because they say I'm too young and they are afraid that if I have the surgery done than in 15 years I'll have to have it done again and they don't want to pay for it again. So I've been living in so much pain for the past 7 years and now I'm almost completely unable to walk, but I still can't get my knee replaced

I've had CT scans for other issues that noted problems with my C6&C7 L5&S1 but nothing ever done about it until I started having some really bad migraines with leg and arm weakness with numbness in my palms and fingers. I was diagnosed six years earlier with narcolepsy with cataplexy after a six foot fall from which I fell face down on a rock walk way hitting my head on a concrete wall as well. My fall was caused by my legs going numb and limp as I was stepping over a baby gate on the top of my porch at the same time my dogs started barking, doctor stated my dogs startled me causing the first and only cataplexy spell I have had in my life. Since my fall I started having really bad facial pain (discovered it was migraines). I have numbness in my arms and weakness in my legs with pain like never before since my fall. I fell down a flight of concrete stairs in 2008 causing a cervical and lumbar sprain and a concussion. I took a few months of physical therapy and after a MRI the doctor released me. I am now dealing with the issue again. My neurologist has reviewed all of my medical notes and I go for a never test to see if I have spinal nerve damage now. The CT and MRI notes from other non related issues noted the concerns even after the first accident and before the second accident. I've had problems but just thought the pain I felt was due to me being over weight. I have since then lost a significant amount of weight and I am having more issues. Am I going the right route having a nerve test before any other test? I'm not exactly as young as I was when I first fell and my body is going through the aging process seeing I'm 44 and I'm concern about becoming immobile before I'm ready.
